My Story

I’m Mermaid Obsidian, a Christian, Hawaiian-born mermaid, swimming into the world of professional mermaiding. My radiant and striking colors of Black, Green, and Gold reflect both the mystery of obsidian stone and the vibrant life of the Hawaiian islands that I call home. I’m still pretty new to the world of professional mermaiding; however, I’m excited to grow, learn, and share this magical adventure with y’all. For me, mermaiding is about spreading joy and wonder to everyone I meet, because when I was a little girl, I too was captivated by mermaids (a large part of my thanks to Disney’s production of The Little Mermaid) and that same feeling, look, and curiosity that I had when I was little, is the same that I now want to bring to others! Beyond the waves, I’m also starting my new business journey here with you all, learning every day and always thinking of new ideas. Serving the Lord and bringing glory to him is at the heart of everything I do. I look to him to help me in my entrepreneur journey, my mermaid journey, and my walk with him in general. I can’t wait to share my adventures, creations, and mermaid magic with you all!
